NOT THE RIGHT TYPE.
I had a plan to laser cut some letters of my own type out of plywood and then use these to print and emboss on the albion press.. however I could not for the life of me get the laser cutter to cut the wood so in the end I resorted to using the mashed up type from the print room, just so I could try the process. HOME MADE SILKSCREEN
I don’t think I posted these before (or maybe I did, can’t remember.) Home-made silkscreen mini prints, starting out with one colour print on a less than A4 photo frame silkscreen. The count of the mesh is a bit high and has the tendency to bleed, and I was using a cleaning squeegee, but non the less, I like the home madeyness.

Final photos - not impressed with the print quality considering it took me three whole days to print it double sided.. after that I would’ve appreciated super quality. Also not happy with the photography lighting due to the studio issues and also the lack of good quality textured stock. Will be printing again for the portfolio… need to locate some GF Smith type paper suppliers...
